Digital geographic products are available for both spatial and attribute information. Spatial data files use latitude and longitude coordinates to define the shape and location of geographic features while attribute files provide descriptive information about the features.

The files are accessible over the stats - server by:

2) Province via our Canada - Map . Please note that only a limited number of files have been subdivided by province, therefore, if the files you require do not appear under province of choice, return to this index page and select by file type.

MAPS:

For the 2001 Census, Reference Maps and Thematic Maps have been released in PDF format. For the 2006 Census, Reference Maps and Thematic Maps are currently only available via the Statistics Canada website.
