Description:
The
Census Subdivision Cartographic Boundary File for Canada contains
the boundaries of all 5,600 census subdivisions for the 2001 Census.
A census subdivision is an administrative area, which is a component
of the Standard Geographic Classification and comprised of dissemination
areas. Census subdivision is the general term for municipalities (as
determined by provincial legislation) or areas treated as municipal
equivalents for statistical purposes (for example, Indian reserves,
Indian settlements and unorganized territories). Datasets: The Data are available in Arc/Info(r) Export format (*.E00), or in MapInfo(r) Format in the Lambert Projection or in the Latitude / Longitude Projection. In the TDR the following products are stored:
